A food security agency in Burkina Faso commissioned the installation of Cocoons™ in different parts of Burkina Faso in May 2013 for maize and sorghum. The installations tested the Cocoons’ effectiveness in eliminating pests and controlling aflatoxin producing molds. Officials concluded that the Cocoons are viable preservation solutions that don’t require chemical fumigants, are affordable and easy to use.
